Live Promotions is looking for an organized, creative, and socially confident person to join our team in Bangkok.
This hybrid role combines content creation, digital marketing, community engagement, and event support. Reporting to the Marketing Specialist, you will help produce content, document Bangkok’s music and creative scene, support our events, and turn new encounters into valuable industry relationships.
The role is ideal for someone who loves music, arts, nightlife, and creative communities, and wants to develop practical experience in marketing and live events.
Key Responsibilities
Content Creation & Social Media
- Design social media graphics, promotional posters, event announcements, and campaign assets using Canva or similar tools.
- Film and edit short-form vertical videos for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and other platforms.
- Write engaging captions and promotional copy in Thai and English.
- Support campaigns such as 1 Artist A Day and The Live List.
- Help plan, schedule, and publish content across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and LinkedIn.
- Monitor community interactions, identify relevant trends, and contribute ideas to improve engagement.
- Organize photo, video, and design files for future use.
Community Research & Industry Mapping
- Research artists, venues, promoters, labels, festivals, media, and creative organizations in Bangkok.
- Attend selected events to discover talent, create content, and better understand the local scene.
- Conduct short interviews with artists, venue owners, promoters, partners, and audiences.
- Build relationships with people featured in our content and connect them with the Live Promotions network when relevant.
- Maintain an organized database of contacts, opportunities, venues, and artists.
- Share relevant discoveries and potential partnership opportunities with the team.
Event Support
- Assist with promotional materials, event documents, guest information, signage, and event preparation.
- Support setup, guest coordination, artist assistance, interviews, and content capture during selected events.
- Produce real-time social media coverage.
- Organize post-event photos, videos, attendance information, and communication results.
- Help prepare post-event recaps and partner reports.
Qualifications
- A genuine interest in Bangkok’s music, arts, nightlife, and creative communities.
- Proactive, curious, reliable, and willing to learn.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in Thai and English.
- Comfortable meeting new people, conducting interviews, and appearing on camera.
- Good knowledge of Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and LinkedIn.
- Comfortable using Canva, CapCut, or similar content creation tools.
- Good visual judgment and an understanding of engaging social media content.
- Organized, attentive to detail, and able to follow briefs and meet deadlines.
- Comfortable receiving feedback and revising work.
- Based in Bangkok and available for selected evening and weekend events, with working hours adjusted accordingly.
Additional Skills
- Experience creating content for music, events, nightlife, culture, hospitality, or lifestyle brands.
- Knowledge of Bangkok’s artists, venues, promoters, and creative organizations.
- Experience with photography, video editing, Photoshop, Illustrator, scheduling tools, analytics, Google Workspace, Trello, spreadsheets, databases, or CRM platforms.
Working Environment
This is a flexible hybrid role combining remote work, events across Bangkok, and occasional office time for meetings and collaboration.
You will work closely with the Marketing Specialist and the wider Live Promotions team, with clear briefs, regular feedback, and opportunities to progressively take on more responsibility.
