On March 1, we hosted a special edition of JAMBOX, our signature live jam session where Bangkok’s finest musicians create music together on the spot. This time, we brought the energy to the Sababa garden for an intimate acoustic session. Our goal was to take the raw, improvisational spirit of Jambox and strip it back for a Sunday afternoon, using the garden setting to give a warmer, more community-focused vibe.
A piano rolled directly into the garden, joined by guitars, trumpets, choirs, and chilled-out grooves along with Sababa’s signature Mediterranean Izakaya cuisine and cold drinks.
For the Musicians: Pure Music Connection
Jambox is built on the philosophy of “no rehearsals, no setlists.” Musicians of all backgrounds are welcome to bring their instruments and jam alongside members of some of Bangkok’s most influential bands. Whether you’re a seasoned pro or a rising talent, the garden session offers a space to create “on-the-spot masterpieces” in a relaxed, collaborative environment, with no covers!

For those who prefer to listen, the session offers the perfect Sunday wind-down. Guests can enjoy the magic of live improvisation while indulging in Sababa’s signature Mediterranean Izakaya cuisine and cold drinks. Set against the backdrop of a “chill garden” vibe, it is an invitation to witness the raw talent of Bangkok’s music scene in an intimate, easygoing setting.
