Following the incredible momentum and success of last year, Bangkok World Music Day ’26 officially took over the city on June 13, 2026 with over 8,500 attendees. In partnership with One Bangkok, Sawasdee France, and Alliance Française Bangkok, we transformed the heart of the city into a massive free music festival. From afternoon until midnight, One Bangkok and Alliance Française Bangkok came alive with local and international talent spanning diverse cultures and genres.
At Livepromotions, we were incredibly proud to head up the program and communication coordination once again for this year’s spectacular event.
It was a truly cross-cultural, multi-generational celebration where all boundaries melted away. Locals, expats, and families danced side-by-side, uniting music lovers of all kinds, from indie rock enthusiasts to fans of traditional beats. It was a day of musical exploration, where attendees sang along to their favorite bands while discovering exciting new sounds.
2026 Lineup
When it comes to building the lineup, our philosophy goes far beyond just putting together a great playlist. We believe that a true festival is defined by its energy, which is why we hand-pick artists we’ve personally witnessed live. We look for performers who master the entire live experience, delivering engaging and unforgettable sets where the crowd can’t help but move.
We find the perfect balance by pairing famous local artists with fresh, new talents who are ready for their big break. Central to this vision is championing “export-ready” Thai artists, acts that aren’t just dominating locally, but are fully primed and equipped to make waves on the international festival circuit.
At the same time, we act as a cultural bridge, flying in global talent to create a true cross-border exchange. This gives local music lovers the ultimate opportunity to discover their next international obsession right here in the heart of Bangkok.
Bringing the Fête de la Musique’s Vision to Thailand
The festival traces its roots back to 1982, guided by a beautifully simple philosophy: music belongs to everyone, and it shouldn’t cost a thing. This core belief sparked France’s legendary Fête de la Musique. Fast forward to today, and every June, streets, parks, and squares across the globe transform into lively, open-air concert halls. It has evolved into a massive worldwide movement, welcoming both aspiring amateur talents and seasoned professionals to reclaim public spaces for the community.
